Printer problem

I'have tried to load a printer through the printer wizard but it says
operation could not be completed. Have tried to load from the cd drive and
it says RPC server is unavailable. I have tried two differant printers and
keep gettin the same problem. any ideas any one?

1 add remove and uninstall any printers listed

2 printers,delete any printers listed
3 file server properties drivers and remove any printers
listed
4 services and make sure print spooler is started
