Hello everyone,

My question is about ports, can you have two printers sharing the same
TCP/IP port? What would be the complications?

TIA
Lily

You can't assign two devices to the same TCP/IP port, if that's your
question....

Yes, that is my question, thank you. The reason why I am asking that
question is because we have a Plotter to plot engineering drawings which
just had the postscript driver installed on it so we can also plot pdf
files. Even though it is the same printer we have to set up to printers on
our computers one for plotting drawings and the other for plotting pdf files
so I don't know how to configure the ports?

That is still only ONE device on ONE TCP/IP port.
Just set up 2 queues to point at the same printer. one for PS and one plain.
