I have two identical E-Studio 810 copiers with built in print controllers
(GL-1020) that I am trying to use printer pooling over TCP/IP. My computers
all run Windows XP sp1. My two copiers have the ending ip address .50 and
..60 and are properly set for pooling in printer setup. Problem is that all
the jobs just go to .60, none of the jobs go the .50 unless I specifically
say for them to print to .50. If I quickly print a bunch of jobs they might
split but otherwise each job just goes to the .60 machine so there might be
25 jobs waiting to print on the .60 and nothing coming out on the .50.

Any ideas of what setting changes I could make?

Is the 60 & 50 port settings, If so create custom
printer/copier names in the "printers" area. The top device
name will need to change some in order for printer control
to add the second to the dialog. Printing normally takes
place on one default printer, common to windows, so the menu
will need to be implemented which gives you the flexibility
of assigning the printers/copiers from the print/copy
dialog.

Thanks for the reply but I don't understand what you are suggesting I change
in the settings. .60 and .50 are the last octet of the IP address for each
of the printers. I've followed the instructions on creating a printer pool
it is just not working the way it should per my first message below.
