I have a laptop which I want to connect to my printer which is not wireless
but connected to my stationary computer.

I use xp home on my laptop and vista rc-1 on the other, but that doesnt
really matter right?

Help appreciated!

You enable sharing of the printer on the host computer.
You enable access to the shared resource on the other computer.

There are lots of ways to do each task. I prefer (for no good reason) the
"net use" and the "net share" commands.

Actually, before I realized how inconvenient it is to access a printer which
upstairs from a computer that is downstairs, I enable sharing of the Photo
1280 in the printer driver panel. It is lots less wear and tear on the
legs just to buy an cheap printer for the downstairs computer.
