Hello!
I have a remote user running Windows XP Pro as a regular user connecting to
an NT4 Citrix 1.8 server. The remote computer uses a shared printer on their
other computer with a normal installation of that computer's shared printer
on this station. Citrix 1.8 will not normally connect to network printers,
so I mapped it to LPT2 by using "net use LPT2 \\maincomputer\hp1200" at a
command prompt.
If I log onto the remote computer as the Administrator and connect to
Citrix, it maps the connected printer through Citrix so that I can print
from the remote computer. Regular users, who are not members of the
administrators group, cannot get their printer created on the Citrix server.
Is there a local permission needed by regular users to create printers?
Thanks for helping!
