Printer & Drive Sahring Issues

Hi Alll,

Please help. I shut down both computers(XP Home) to do some cable
management. When I turned both back on neither computer could find each
other. I have disabled both WIndows and McAfee Personal firewall and enabled
sharing on the printer and backup drive that I want to share to no avail.
Both computers can access the internet. I have a wireless network.

Jude,

One of the most common causes of this problem would be a misconfigured or
overlooked personal firewall, or other security component. There are several
other possibilities too, and any might be the cause of your problem. Read this
article with an open mind.

You're implying though that it worked before your cable management. So, if you
need more immediate assistance, provide "browstat status" and "ipconfig /all"
from each computer, so we can diagnose the problem. Read this article, and
