How can I find out if my HP Laser 6L will work with XP? When I click on this
topic in Windows, I get taken to a page of printers but HP 6L is not listed.

Duh?

Try www.hp.com and see if HP has an XP driver.

Hi, if you add the printer manually it is listed under HP, but I think xp
will detect once connected and install the drivers automatically....

Just a comment that the obvious place to see if a printer
has XP drivers is the printer mfg'r.

That's what I thought. The condescension is not necessary. That's what
these forums are for. I happen to have a Ph.D. but not in computers.

HP 6L is an older printer. If HP does not have a newer XP driver then you
can only use the drivers that are shipped with XP.
