We moved our print server from Windows 2000 to Windows Server 2003. Clients
are Windows XP SP2. Users get "access denied" when the choose the printer.
Some users cannot print. Some users can print, but what I read from some KB
is that, they will not be able to manage their own print jobs.

So, any thoughts? Permissions on the printer at the print server is set to

Everyone to Print

Firewall is not enabled at the XP SP2 side.

Any thoughts Please? I would appreciate if someone who has gone through this
could let me know what can be done at the XP side or at the Server side to
get this issue resolved.

Is the Win2k3 machine joined to the domain?

If there is no domain, is it on the same workgroup? And does it have
usernames/passwords listed in the local users and groups for the workstations
that will be accessing it?

Yes, the Win2K3 SP1 box is on the domain/has joined the domain. Any other
information required?
