I'm trying to install a printer (hp deskjet 970cxi, usb)
on Windows XP. When I connect the printer, the Wizard
says "Cannot Install this Hardware. There was a problem
installing this hardware: hp deskjet 970c series.
An error occured during the installation of the device.
The system could not find the file specified."
This message comes up again when I close the Wizard. I
tried installing the correct driver from the hp site. Now
the printer actually prints, but the computer keeps
saying that new hardware has been detected, and keeps
trying the wizard (which keeps failing).
