Print Spooler Stops

I have a system (XP Pro) that worked fine until last week. If you try to print to any printer (network or local) the print spooler stops. You can go to services and start it again but as soon as you try to access any printer function (properties etc.) it stops. Currrent Trend Micro Officescan on the network and no virus' are found - Any ideas?
