I work in an office where we share printers. The printer I share with is also
shared with one other person.
If the person that the computer is shared from is not log in we are unable
to print. Is there a way around this--other than getting her password and
logging it?

You can set a computer as a Printer server, to avoid such an issue, or to
create a profile for the printer logged all the time.
