print screen won't work

Has print screen been disabled in XP? I can't get a
screenshot to copy to the clipboard. I need to get a
series of screenshots to a client, but none of the print
screen functions will work.

Just click the PrintScreen button, then open either

Paint or Wordpad, click Edit and Paste.
 
Never mind, was trying to paste a screenshot with a
dialog box open into Notepad. Tried in Word instead, she
works fine.
