Is there anything out there that will allow me to do a print preview
with programs that don't have their own pp function?

Did you check your printer definitions. I can set it in my printer
definitions(HP970 CXI) so I don't need another software solution.

Not that I know of, exactly.

The (kind of) round about way of doing this would be to use CutePDF Writer
(http://www.cutepdf.com/Products/CutePDF/writer.asp) to create a PDF of
what you want to print, then use FoxIt PDF Reader
(http://www.foxitsoftware.com/pdf/rd_intro.php) to view the file. If you
like what you see, print it from FoxIt. The bonus (if you want to call it
that) is you have a pdf file of what you printed.

I hadn't but I have now! Epson Stylus 880, the preview was turned off! I
reckon I had forgotten to turn it on last time I re-installed XP etc.
Thanks for the memory nudge!

THanks for that. I've already got Primopdf (not used it yet though, and
I'd forgotten my printer gives me a preview anyway. Doh!
