Hello,
I am trying to add a print icon on my custom defined menu,
I added print icon but it directly prints the report how
can I give an option to the users to select a rage for
pages to print, where should I get that icon?
Thanks,
Jim.

Do this on a copy of your database first so we don't blow anything up.

1. Make sure you can see your custom menu bar on screen as well as the main Access default menu bar.

2. Position your menu bar on the right side of the screen for the moment.

3. Right click on one of the menu bars and go to "Customize."

4. Now single click on the File menu of the main Access menu bar to drop the list down.

5. While holding down the CONTROL key (not shift) click on the Print option on the File menu and
drag it onto your custom menu bar. A copy of that button and it's properties should now be on your
custom menu bar.

6. Close the Customize editor.

7. Re-position your menu bar to where you would like and then try it out.
It *should* bring up the print dialog box when clicked.

I think I messed up the icon inf the file menu in then
past it is actually directly printing report and does not
bring print dialog box. is there any where else I can get
it?

Are you sure you held down the CONTROL key while dragging
the print option from the File menu to your menu?

Holding down the control key will make a copy on your
custom menu. This works just fine in my tests.
