Is there anyway to change the default settings in the
Tools->Options->Print dialog so the values I want
(different than the MS defaults) are in the Options For
Current Document Only fields all the time?

I'm not positive, but I think if you change those options for a template, then
any presentations created later and based on that template will inherit the
same options.

I don't believe there's any way of applying those settings retroactively (other
than by opening each PPT, changing the settings and saving it again)
