print only current record

i have a form of clients with a subform of projects associated with that
client.
when i get new project start for a given client, i want to enter the new
project information for it and then print the form, which has the client info
as well as the specs for the new project.
when i print the form, i do not want to show the first project that i did
for that client. i only want a print for the 'current project' that i just
did the job start for.

i have inserted a command button on the form to print the current record.
when i click this button... it prints the form alright, but it includes the
information for the first project that i performed work on for the client...
not the one that i'm looking at.

what do i do to fix this?
