Previously working functions now get #NAME? error

I have 2 functions that (that I know of at this time) that
used to work but now get a #NAME? error.

It appears that the functions are no longer recognized in
Excel. Normally a functions entered in lower case is
capitalized. [entering =stdev(a1:a10) becomes =STDEV
(A1:A10)]. One failing function is quotient, it no longer
gets capitalized (even if entered in Caps, tit gets
converted to lower case) and the other function is weeknum
which gets changed to WEEKnum and neither is recognized as
a function.

I have exhausted searching for option that may have been
set that would only impact 2 functions not all. And I do
not know enough about the internals of Excel to check all
the files that impact functions to see if one is missing
or corrupted.

So I would be grateful if someone could shed some light on
this or give me some addition areas to check into.

Thank you

Thank you very much.

I am on a corpotate banded PC running Office 2000
and "Analysis Toolkpak" is not part of the download. And I
can see in Excel that the functions I have trouble with
are not part of the current fucntion list.

I recently had to have the PC rebuilt and they obviously
removed my Analysis Toolpak. Unfortunately Microsoft only
has an XP version to download. I will try to find a 2000
Analysis Toolpak somewhere else.

Again thank you for pointing me in the right direction.
