Does anyone know how to turn off the preview pane in Outlook? I can turn it
off per folder, but not for all at once.

Thank you for your help in advance!

It is a per-folder attribute. That means you have to change that attribute
for each folder one at a time. There is no global configuration setting for
the Preview pane.

If you are afraid of HTML-formatted e-mails, turn off the Preview pane in
the Inbox, Deleted Items, and Junk folders. Items in other folders were put
there by you or by a rule that you defined and should be okay e-mails. If
you want a real preview of the message (Preview actually opens the entire
item and really isn't a *Pre*view mode), use the AutoPreview mode which
shows the first few lines of each message but as plain-text only.

Candace,
In Outlook 2003 click View, Arrange By, Current View, Customize Current View.
Click the "Other Settings" button and then turn off the Reading Pane.
Finally, apply this view to all folders.
