preview message, & security

Hi can anybody confirm that if you allow preview of your incoming messages,
no information is sent to the sender, and that no security is reduced by
allowing this feature. I would liketo know if spam etc is by any chance
benefiting from this feature. Thanks, and hope its not a stupid question!
 
Well, it may not be a stupid question, but by not including the version of
Outlook about which you are enquiring, it lowers the level a whole lot!

Ok, I was talking in general. I use Outlook 2002, but the person I was
discussing this issue with uses Outlook 2000.
