Preventing changes to task views

Hello,

Is there a way to prevent task view changes being automatically saved?

My problem is this:
When I select a certain view of tasks, I sometimes want to re-sort the view.
However, the minute I click on a column to re-sort, it changes the view to
have this as the sort order, so I end up having to re-setup my view.

I am using Outlook 2003 on a standalone PC, and any help would be appreciated.

Turn on Advanced Toolbars. Stop using the weird Arrange by function.

Use the Group By Box to group as you want. In 2003 if you want to sort and
group, you must sort first, then group
