Please excuse this offtopic post but I am trying to spread awareness of
atrocities being commited to animals. If you love animals as I do,
please help prevent the cruelty by boycotting IAMS and EUKANUBA
products for their inhumane treatment of animals. Please spread the
word!

I eat endangered species. Love to eat whale someday, and train a monkey to
clean my toilet in return for cigarettes.

It's a bit trickier: Vegetables are not food. Vegetables are what food eats.
If it doesn't eat vegetables (dog, cat, etc.), it's not food. Don't eat it.

IAMS and EUKANUBA are premium pet foods and are 100% recommended by vets for
the best possible pet nutrition.

You can't build a house without making sawdust, you can't cut out a cancer
without destroying some healthy tissue.

You need to focus on the ultimate good, not the messy steps to get there.

Still, I applaud your efforts. You could be messing with something that: a)
has a chance of success, and b) would screw up the world.

Keep busy.

I hear that spotted owl tastes like chicken...

In honor of this thread, when I'm at dinner tonight I'm going to order a
veal chop and a foie gras appetizer.

100 years ago in North America folks ate their dogs in times of need to
survive.

While serving in Vietnam I sat for a meal in a local village cafe. I
was told by the proprietor after the meal was finished that I had
eaten dog. Can't describe what it tasted like, but it sure as hell
wasn't chicken.

I also love animals. Especially sauteed in butter with a side of mashed
potatos.

Get a life.

There are many foods that just dont gain popularity in certain
countries.

For example, in the USA, people just dont demand rabbit, rats, pigeons
etc. Oddly, squirrel used to be a popular staple in the usa but no
longer. As a kid tho I used to trap pigeons and sell them on the street
for food. My grandma used to work in a bakery and I got the "bait" for
free :) 4 big pigeons for a buck was good money for a 7 year old.

If you can eat a pig, you can eat a dog.

Or eat these buggers:

Oddly tho, nutria are seen as "rats". Odd in that the folks in New
Orleans have no problem eating the very hard to eat "mudbug" but have a
problem with "real meat".
