Can you please tell me if it's possible to prevent someone from saving a copy
of my Word document. Either saving over the top or a new copy?

I look forward to hearing from anyone who can help.

No, it isn't possible. You can make it more difficult, but you can't
prevent it if the other party is both knowledgeable and determined.

Realistically, no, so long as that person can read the document, they can
save a copy. You could make it difficult but I can't think of anything that
could be done that I couldn't get around in less than two minutes. With
sufficient network file control, you could certainly keep someone from
saving to the same name in the same folder.
