Press enter where? How did you enable autologon? What is the history of
this problem?

The background appears but I have to press enter to get the desktop (start
menu, and desktop icons) to appear. I enabled autologon downloading tweakUI
and I have also tried changing the use welcome screen settings and change the
way user logons.

Ok now I understand. It boots up but stops at a blank desktop, then when
you press enter the icons and taskbar appear. That's interesting. I
haven't seen that before.

If that doesn't work, then do some clean boot troubleshooting to see if it's
one of the startup programs that's interfering with login.
