Hi,

have build presentation in ppt XP

1 - Powerpoint Viewer 97 cannot correctly show transitions I have set and
animations
2 - same viewer does not correctly display soem banners ( instead appearing
full color, appear dotted !)

Have thus tried to save as web pages in htm format :
- pages and animations load much slower than the original under PPT XP :
normal ?
- a white background screen flashes between all slides, and that is very
disturbing

In mht, it is slow to change pages and show animations.

Any explanations ? How should I do ?

Have downloaded PPT Viewer 2003, but don't see the program anywhere after
install ( the shortcut doesn't point to an executable) : would it be
possible to install that viewer on a PC not having Office XP installed ?????

Need help ! Presentation is intended in 24 H !

Check C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\PowerPoint Viewer for the
pptview.exe file (PowerPoint 2003 Viewer). If you don't find it there then
do a search of your C: drive for pptview.exe.

Found it !

Do you have explanation for the other topics concerning htm / mht formats ?
Thanks !

I'm not real sure about the MHT because I don't completely understand what
program you're opening the file in. Since you've found the new Viewer
executable, I would expect that viewing the original PPT file would be
preferable and the MHT wouldn't be necessary. Did it do what you want?

Yes it did.
Just trying to understand mht / html save formats, just in case ...
Thanks again.
