When I try to connect to my ISP, a screen called pre-dial terminal screen comes up and I have to close it before I can connect,please how do I stop it appearing

You might try this... Get to your DIAL UP NETWORKING folder and when
you see the icon for your ISP, RIGHT click it and select PROPERTIES..
Down the window a little bit you will see Connect Using and you will click
the CONFIGURE button.. This will open another little window and at the top
of it, if you see OPTIONS, click that tab forward and you should see
something
to the effect of "BRING UP TERMINAL WINDOW BEFORE DIALING".... Uncheck
it and OK your way out.
