PPT to VHS

I was following a tutorial that I found on soniacoleman.com to take a PPT
and record it onto a VHS tape. I have an ATI All-In-Wonder card and a VCR
that has an S-Video attachment. I am certain that I have everything set-up
correctly, but I am not seeing any PPT when I play the video (of course this
is after I have recorded it).

Does any one have any thoughts on what might be happening here? Everything
is connected correctly so I am only left to conclude that I am doing
something wrong that is not documented.

The card that I have is a 9600 and the VCR I am using is an LG which also
records to DVD. I have used the AV2 connection on the recorder and have set
the input to that channel.

Any thoughts on this would be appreciated.

DFysh,

I wouldn't try and record your ppt to an actual tape until you can see a
picture on the TV connected to the vhs recoder.

I'd get the manual that came with the vhs recorder and see what "input /
channel needs tuning" for you to be able to see what's plugged in to the
S-video connector.

And check the video settings on the computer. It usually wants a bit of
fiddling and special keystrokes to send the computer's video out the S-Video
port.
