Hi,
Basic question:
how do I make high quality .tif files from a powerpoint file. I only have
powerpoint and Paintshop Pro.

From within PowerPoint, do File Save As, from the file type, select TIFF

Basic question:
how do I make high quality .tif files from a powerpoint file. I only have
powerpoint and Paintshop Pro.

I just see an option to save as *.jpg. Then I can open this jpg with paint
shop and save its as *.tif. This leads to enormous loss of quality.
 
How are you saving? Go to File > Save as and scroll through the list of
"Files of Type" until you find TIF.

It's possible that during setup, you chose not to install the TIFF graphic
export filter.
