PPT hyperlink open in a new window

I have a website that allows access to view a Powerpoint Presentation that is stored on the server. Once they click on the link, it opens the presentation fine. Inside the presentation, I have hyperlinks to reports that are available through the web application. I would like these links to open the reports in a new IE window instead of in the same window as the presentation (because they can't get back to the presentation once they view a linked report - since it opens in a temporary location on their computer). Any help is appreciated.

[CRITICAL UPDATE - Anyone using Office 2003 should install the critical
update as soon as possible. From PowerPoint, choose "Help -> Check for
Updates".]

Hello,

What version of PowerPoint are you using? In PowerPoint 2003 the behavior
has been changed so that a hyperlink from an HTML presentation to another
browsable page will not launch a separate instance of Internet Explorer.

What about with PowerPoint 2000? Is it possible to set the default so that all links open in a new IE window

Thanks
Josh
