PPT file opening from website in slideshow mode.

hi all, sorry for being a pp noob but i cant figure this out. we have a
file thats linked on a website that when you click open, it opens in a
slideshow in ie. all of our other ppt files open in powerpoint which is
what we want. is there a setting somewhere that is causing this file to
do this? also opening the file from the desktop opens in it pp as
desired. its only when opening from the website that it goes into
slideshow mode.
