.PPS WON'T OPEN FULL SCREEN?

It launches directly into the show, but not full screen (I can still see the Menu bars at the top of screen). I'd like the users to launch right into the full sceen show (this will be e-mailed out). Is this possible

If you are sure it is a PPS file try opening PowerPoint, opening the PPS
file, click the "Slide Show menu, select "Set up show". make sure the
"Presented by a speaker (full screen)" is checked.
