*.pps files

How can I open *.pps files. The dialogue
wants a "file association" but I have never
heard of this.
Please help.

Maybe MS Powerpoint
If you dont have that app there is a free viewer available at MS site
 
pps files belong to Microsoft Powerpoint. If you don't have Powerpoint
installed you will need to download the powerpoint viewer fromt he Microsoft
download site:

the "Powerpint Viewer 2003"
