Question we just upgrade to PowerPoint 2007, and I am have a problem. We
get PowerPoint from our clients and they have a logo at the bottom right
corner and it show up as symbols when I open it.
The way I got it to work in PowerPoint 2000 is to have one that shows
there logo and run the one that does work, and it would show the logo.

I think they are uses there logo as a font but I not sure.

Brian,

I think you are right and they indeed have inserted a logo that consists of
text in some font that is not installed on your machine. Click on View -
Slide Master to switch to the master view, in the left pane scroll up until
you see a slide preview that's larger than the others, that's the master.
Right-click on the logo, the mini toolbar should show you the name of the
font they used. One solution would be to install that font yourself. If that
is not possible, ask them either to embed the font when saving or to use an
image of their font instead (no WMF/EMF image files, they use fonts, too).
Preferably a PNG (bitmap) file, which will not change on any PC.

Best regards,
Ute
