PowerToy Image Resizer Problem

I have the Power toy installed, and it's resized .TIF images in the past, and
will still resize old images. However, I've just downloaded some new .TIF
images, and the resizer won't work. I get an error saying "Picture Resizer
was unable to resize the following Picture: DSCF0005.TIF".
I've tried uninstalling the PowerToy, downloading it again, and
reinstalling, and after a reboot, it still doesn't work on these new images.
Images were taken with the same camera. Infact, the new .TIF images are
smaller in size, 9m vs the older 17m images that resize just fine.

Any ideas?

Bert,

Tried what you suggested, and still no joy. I'd already looked at the
file association anyway, but thought there might have been something else in
the fix so I ran it anyway.

Any other ideas?

Thanks,

Hi,

I just tried resizing a few tif image files and it would not work
either. It must depend on the tif image was created. From what I
understand all image file are not created equal even thou they have
the same file extension.

Irfanview is another alternative for converting image files.

Bert,

I can resize old .TIF images from the same camera that were even larger.
Still can resize these old images. For some reason it won't work on new
images from the same camera.

I'm stumped!

Hi,

I am out of ideas. The problem with these power toys is they are
unsupported and there's next to no information available on them.

Anyone else have any ideas?
