I think that the only way that you could convert it, would be to send it to
Word. File<Send To Word<Outline. Then in Word you could possibly use the
translation tools. Tools<Language<Translate. There is a place at the
bottom of the translation task pane where you can choose to go to the web
for additional translations that are not listed, however I have never tried
that feature. I like
www.freetranslation.com. You may want to use the
Office Clipboard to copy and paste the text blocks individually to and from
the free translation text boxes. Then be sure the Chinese text is placed
back in the outline document in the same places, with the same formatting.
Once it is all translated, you can send it back to PowerPoint. You will
need to apply the design template that was used originally because all of
the slides will be white with black text. Text that is formatted as Heading
1 will become slide titles and text formatted as Heading 2 will become body
text on the slides.
This sure is a roundabout way of doing things, but I hope it helps. Good
