I created a powerpoint and received an error message stating there was an
error and to save and restart p.point. I did and now can not locate my
document (not even in the tem file), please help. Isn't there a place on the
computer that saves all documents lost, or documents deleted?

Only if you had saved it once or if you had the OFFICE
program set to do automatic saves.

A brave person would have looked at the newgroup title and noticed
that it dealt with XP and how it related to hardware. A smart person
would also realize that this question doesn't deal with that subject.
A very smart person would have then sought a group that WOULD deal
with their question, perhaps with PowerPoint or OFFICE in the title.

But I guess you aren't any of those types of people.
