PowerPoint to Text conversion?

I have some funny text files in PowerPoint format (slideshow) which I'd like
to print out in normal text size.
Is there any free PowerPoint to Text converter that can do the trick?

Hi Sigi,

rename the PPS file into PPT file. Then edit it with Powerpoint
or OpenImpress (Part of OpenOffice)

Thanks... it works beautifully! Never thought that renaming .pps to .ppt
will do the trick.
