How can I get a powerpoint presentation to startup automatically after a
reboot?
It's for a foyer PC that will show news and discussion groups and general
information for that day. We don't want a k/b and mouse present so if the
machine re-booted, it would need to start up automatically.

If you rename it from whatever.PPT to whatever.PPS, it'll start in slideshow
view automatically when doubleclicked.

And if you put the PPS in your startup folder, Windows will, in effect,
doubleclick it for you at startup.

Simplest way I know to do this is to drag the file onto the START button ...
wait for the menu to open, then drag to All Programs, wait, drag to Startup,
wait until the Startup folder opens and then drag the PPS into it.

Or use Windows Explorer to open:

C:\Documents and Settings\[username]\Start Menu\Programs\Startup
and drag the file into that folder.
