TAJ's solution is a good one if you need the sound file separately.
However, you might be able to do this more simply by copying and pasting
the sound icon from one file to another or copying and pasting the slide
from one file to another. If neither of those work, then the Save As
HTML (make sure you get a .htm file, not a .mht file) will give you an
actual sound file that you can insert into your PowerPoint presenation.
