powerpoint mac to pc help

HELP! I have a project I worked of at school to be finished....here's the story we are using powerpoint on the imacs that we have at school....i didnt quite finish so i sent it to myself via email...i have powerpoint 2002 on my computer here which is running windows xp...so anyway i tried running my presentation and powerpoint says it cant open my file!! i need to be able to work s on it and send it to myself in another email so i can open it again on the mac pc! how can this be done??? please email back!

Rename it with the ".ppt" extension.
