In Corel Presentation, there is a line feature identified by a zig-zagged
line that allows you to draw a line, then click, then draw a line in a
different direction, etc. and it automatically connects the lines together.
I find no such feature in Powerpoint. The closest I find is the connecting
lines which are not the same at all. Anyone know if that feature exists in
Powerpoint. If so, please let me know where it is and how to access it.
Thanks loads!

Click AutoShape, which is located at the bottom toolbar > Lines > Freeform
(the fifth picture).
Alternately, click Insert > Picture > AutoShapes.
Select Lines > Freeform.

Is that what you want?
