A presentation has been hyperlinked from one document to
another, all within Powerpoint.
How to close the documents we've gone through during the
presentation.
They remain OPEN and slow down the presentation as it
progresses.

Do not use the chaining method of linking for large presentations. Use the
picket fencing method.

Basic idea is that linking one to the end of the next, does not allow the
first one to close and exit RAM. The build-up is cumulative, so that after
making 10 links, you have 11 presentations open in RAM.

Instead, create a master presentation that runs each of the linked
presentations one at a time. The master presentation is always open, but
as each of the other presentations ends, it releases the RAM and return
control back to the master presentation. After 10 links you will still only
have the master and 1 other presentation open.
