Is it possible to create a chart on two axis with 3 columns and 3
corresponding lines? Eg: Spend and Sales per month. Covering 3 years so in
January you would have a column for each year and a line for each year?

If I understand what you're after, you would just input all 6 series of
data.

Then right-click one of the data series you want on the secondary axis,
select "format data series," and on the Axis tab, select secondary axis.

Finally, right-click the line again and select Chart Type. Change to a line
chart. That will change that data series only to a line.

Repeat for the other two data series.

Thanks for the tip ... one important detail is that after right-clicking and
selecting "chart type": you need to select one of the standard chart types
and avoid clicking on any of the user-defined ones.

Interesting. I've never tried doing this with a user-defined chart type, so
that never even occurred to me.

Thanks for the additional information!
