PowerPoint and jpg

Hello all,
I have saved a slide as a JPG...when i open it in my picture reader ..the
wiriting is unreadble...
What did I DO WRONG?

i am using pwoer point and win xp

the slide that i saved as a jpg was a text slide

Is it unreadable because it's jaggy or because the image is scrambled or ...?
