Copied maps from MS Streets and Trips 2004 on clipboard.
Pasted into PPoint Slides. Map does not show up until I
save file as PPT. Also, when I open the slides, the last
map I pasted replaces the first map I pasted?

If I save several maps, the last map pasted is on all the
slides??

Appreciate suggestion how to save different copied maps
in various slides in same presentation.

Are you possibly pasting while in View > Master > Slide Master?

Does anything show up when you paste?

I don't have S & T, but in MapPoint when you copy a map you have to use Ctrl +
Shift + C, or go to Edit > Copy Map. Does S & T work the same?

Barry,

I am using MapPoint, but I think the solution is the same: In S&T right
click on an "empty" area and choose "Copy". In PowerPoint, DO NOT insert
using Ctrl-V, but use "Edit - Paste special" and choose "Picture" or
"Bitmap". That way you'll break the link between PowerPoint and S&T. If you
just "paste" the map, there is still a link and the programs try to "update"
it, if you apply any changes.

Kind regards,
Ute

Try creating a web page from the map in S&T. This'll save a decently high rez
GIF of the map; you can insert this into PPT using Insert, Picture, From File.
