I have placed a PNG file with transparencyy into Powerpoint, and when I print
it, it looks jaggy or clipped rough. Is this normal or is there a problem? It
doesn't seem to matter what size the PNG is. It was created in Photoshop CS.

Some printers have difficulties with transparencies. The best solution is
to 1) update the printer driver from the printer manufacturers site, 2)
Update DirectX, 3) Retry the print.

If it doesn't work then, you can save the slide as a JPEG image file and
print that. Usually this will preserve the transparency much better.
