Hi,
I am using Powerdesk (free) version 5016 with XP (home).
When I select options, preferences, lists and remove the tick from "Hide
system files", hidden files do show up except for the ones in Local
settings,temp internet files.
Does anyone know if this is a feature which is disabled in the free
edition or is there something that I am missing ?

Thanks.

I use Win98SE myself, but assuming the filesystem structure is more or less
the same...
Temporary Internet Files is a system folder and behaves peculiarly in that
it has a number of subdirectories (Content.IE5) with four below that.
Windows Explorer does not show this structure as it exists. Other file
managers do. Does Powerdesk re-use (or rely on) system dll's and duplicate
the Windows Explorer behaviour? Just a thought.

Hi,
Thanks for your reply,I'm not sure how it all works but I do know that
when I remove the tick from "Hide system files" the temp internet folder
shows up but not the files inside it.
Using another free file manager xplorer2, all the files show up inside
the temp internet folder.
I was just curious if this "old fella" was losing his grip and missing
something.
