Hi,

I am building a new computer, P4 2.4C ...its been a while.

I have a brand new P4 power supply with the main power connector and the
seperate 4 prong plug.

My old PSU doesn't have the 4 pronger.

My question is:

Do I plug BOTH power connectors into the mother board? (motherboard has both
connections)

Sounds stupid but I wouldn't want to burn the fricken thing up before it
even booted.

TIA

Ummm........doesn't your motherboard manual document how to use that extra
connector?

Er, everybody.
How else would you know what all the jumpers do, and how to connect up the
case-headers ?

I was only joking, I thought that would have been obvious,
guess not! :-)
