power shortage

I had a power failure and was working on a document is there any way of
retreiving it is was only partly saved. Please Help

Working on it in what application?

If Microsoft Word - what version?
If Microsoft Word - did you have the AutoRecover feature on and how often
did you have it saving?
What happens when you just open Microsoft Word (if it was Microsoft Word)?

Otherwise - doubtful.. Saving does what it states - saves.. Not saving..
doesn't. =)

Probably not, but check the folder where it was stored for a temp copy,
usually beginning with ~$_

Hi, Some, (most) Word Processors provide a means of saving as you
type....automatically. Maybe too late now, but forthe furture, check
it out.!
