Power Settings

Can someone please tell me what the power settings should be set on? When should the monitor turn off? Hard disks? System standby? Thank you.
 
Usually, there is an order preference as well as a time preference.
I generally use 10-15 minutes for a monitor, 20-30 minutes for a HD , and
about 45-60 minutes for Deep Power save or standby. User preference can
shorten or lengthen the values. Another one is re-enter the password. after
a resume from standby. As the Bear said, when to hibernate is the question!
