Power Point won't open

I downloaded a large (4.2GB) worth of photo into PowerPoint for a slide
presentation and after I closed it I can't get it to open. It says
"sers\Desktop\Blackhawk grad show.ppt. Any suggestions.

I suspect that over the 4.2gigabytes of data that some form of corruption
has occured... that's one big file (are you sure about the size?)
